About
So, to clear things up right away, we didn’t name this site iwanttobeanunfucker.com, because if you look carefully it says, “I want to be a nun fucker.” Oh the emails we would get…
Unfuckitup.com is your place to tell us what you are doing to unfuck things up. We will give a monthly award to the best unfucker idea you submit and feature it on the homepage. So please submit your ideas as often as you do them! We will offer schwag of course, and downloads of Katie & Soren’s song “I Didn’t Fuck It Up” but this is mostly a place for activists to get inspired to do some shit.
“I Didn’t Fuck It Up” was originally written as a little short scene changing type song that Katie and Soren wrote to cover a costume change during a “Broad Comedy” show. But somehow it kept growing. When it did a little viral dance recently gathering thousands of hits a day, we realized we all are feeling a little overwhelmed by the fucked-upped-ness of things and a little action was just the cure.
This site is just starting and we would love to hear more ideas from you of how to grow it. What else would you like to see here and what other activism can we do together?
Give us your ideas for this site

Katie LOVES doing this song and it is a great opener and closer in an evening of other comedy for benefits and fundrasiers. Please contact us to have Katie come perform this at events around the country. This is our activism – curing what ails through comedy.

We just heard Katie do this song live at Bozeman Pride Montana, AND WE LOVED IT AND HER!!!!! I think the song and this site will inspire us to figure out ways to unfuck it up because it has been fucked up long enough!!!

Just discovered this, so my unfucking for the day is spreading the word about Katie. Aside from that, the usual progressive activism.
I am working to get Michele Lujan Grisham into, and keep Martin Heinrich in, Congress (New Mexico) and to re-elect Barack Obama. In all three cases the opponents are major, major fuckitupers.
I'm not sure how to nominate the Empathy Surplus Project. Co-founded by myself, a life long Democrat, and Gary Evans, a life long Republican, we believe the values of empathy and responsibility for self and others belongs in public government. We believe anyone with those values, regardless of party, can gather weekly at 1st Amendment gatherings and strengthen their commitment to making America compassionate, i.e. "a more perfect Union."
